DATA USE POLICY

Rii Forum organizers will comply with all applicable data protection and privacy legislation in force, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679; the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive2002/58/EC (as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC) and the Privacy and Electronic CommunicationsRegulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) as amended.y registering for Rii Forum 2020, you grant the Rii Forum organizers, and the Academic Committee affiliated with the event: 

PERSONAL DATA 

the right to use your personal data in accordance with the Rii Forum privacy policy and in relation to the event prescribed. That is, the Rii Forum organizers will use your data only for activities relating to the event organisation. This includes, but is not limited to, the preparation of a printed program and searchable event-specific data on the Rii Forum website, the creation of a mobile event app (if relevant), and the creation of name badges.


PERSONAL INFORMATION

You also agree that the Rii Forum organizers and the Academic Committee may publish your personal information as part of the results of the event or for academic programming, and may pass such information to any affiliated organisation for publishing results either for the event alone orcombined with or compared to other events. However, this shall be governed by specific agreements, i.e. agreements pertaining to the publishing process. 

DATA STORAGE

The Rii Forum organizers will retain your personal data indefinitely for historical research and statistical purposes, unless you request that these be removed.
